I am a RIBA Part 1 graduate from Birmingham City University, interested in how the beauty of architecture is perceived by its surroundings. The message that the architecture sends forth is as important as how it is viewed as a structure or a shelter. I believe it’s important the concept that makes the building should be communicated to the audience at the first glance. How the shape of architecture affects persons and their surroundings, as well as how humans interact with building.
This proposal captures the core, essence of both the ritual I discovered on site, which was body language, as well as the taboo, which was intruding privacy, by allowing users to experience it through architecture. Combining both concepts, the building may appear as an adventure park where movement within the building is captured through the façade and can be seen from afar when approaching the building, but there is a twist that has more of a sinister/dystopian twist to it as it has an evil layer underground where workers are collecting data through the architecture of the building allowing access to user devices as well as elements throughout the building have tracking , CCTV and fitness monitors.
