My passion for human connection and interaction has always spurred my influence and process in creative endeavours. As a recent graduate of Interior Architecture and Design, I am excited to explore more opportunities where I can not only connect the human experience directly to design, but design spaces inspired by the people who will use them and the energy and activity that will occur in said spaces.
My final project “Give Us Space” was created in retaliation to the unjust changes to the laws surrounding protesting in the United Kingdom, and the impending affects the risks of criminalisation will have on freedom of expression and speech for individuals in our society. The project resulted in the ‘Albany Expression Centre’ a space for individuals to channel their thoughts and feelings into expressive endeavours, with the hope of giving many people the platform to speak their mind and change the world whilst exploring, learning and connecting with one another.
