Forge Fabrications Tour - This project was part of my final proposal for Newtown Birmingham, and it aims to contribute to the UN sustainable goals. The site serves as a safe and welcoming space for people to relax and hang out, while also providing a knife amnesty and reforge center. I hope you enjoy learning more about this exciting initiative!
Forge Fabrications - A Night-time Lure - Forge Fabrications at night, this is a particularly important time to the community of Newtown and is generally the worst time for crime.
Forge Fabrications - Section Through Forges - A section through both forges that interlink with loitering zones above
Forge Fabrications - A place of activity - The exterior view shows the blacksmiths hard at work while individuals can be seen both engaging with the experience and loitering around the ground floor
Forge Fabrications - A place of Warmth - This interior view shows loitering zone 2, an accessible zone for all individuals with a mesh floor and a mechanically ventilated roof.
