Site analysis collage - The site appears a complex shape, so a collage became necessary to understand access points and formation of the site.
Concept application sketch - To apply the concept to the zones, I hand sketched how the spaces will interact with the orange element vertically and horizontally
Concept application through models - Advancing the hand sketches further I created some quick models for further clarity and its interaction with the site.
Section - The rendered section creates an understanding of atmosphere, colour and spatial connection
Rendered plans - The rendered plans creates an understanding of atmosphere, colour and spatial connection
Precedent Sketches - To investigate wrapping elements in existing designs, I sketched and researched these precedents. This also allowed me to understand how wrapping elements are clearly shown.
Visuals of bar/ cafe - This is an atmospheric visual to show the atmosphere and forms of the space. Texture was added to push the concept
View of ceiling above reception area - This shows how all the floors are connected with explosive orange elements to show the divide and the interaction
Detail of reception desk connection - I selected one of the detail drawings from my technical pack to show an example of how each elements of design furthers the concept
