An architecture graduate who enjoys exploring the usage of colours, irony, and contradiction as a way to simulate varying emotions in architectural and non-architectural mediums.
My thesis project, ‘Somewhere in Penumbra’ intentionally highlights the space between utopian and dystopian narratives surrounding Central Hill Estate and references surrealism’s interest in the interplay of reality and imagination. The proposal aims to generate new myths, aspirations, and nightmares pertaining to the Estate by reassembling historical components to immortalise a decaying legacy.
