Hi, my name is Casey! I am 3rd year student studying Interior Architecture and Design. I am passionate about the climate change, sustainability, interactive design, space forming and materials. It is important to me that my design choices have future generations in mind and what impact these choices have on the environment. Creatively, I enjoy model making, 2D and 3D software and material selection. I was nominated twice for the Interior Educators awards, first in 2022 for Collaboration and Interdisciplinary practice and 2024 for Sustainability and Climate emergency and Team Winner for 2022 class live design project- Naseby Youth Centre.
As well as my degree I have, 5 years’ experience as a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom designer and experience in renovating properties.
Final Major project: My final major project is plantED this project looks at climate change, sustainability and modular construction. The project is an interactive exhibition space, which aims to educate families around the UK. You will learn where your food comes from, the impact traditional farming has on the environment, how to grow fresh produce at home using a Hydroponics growing technique and the benefits of making healthier food choices.
