Hello, my name is Cristina Feraru and I am a third year student in the Interior Architecture & Design course of 2024. I chose to study this course as it gave me the opportunity to have a creative outlet, allowing me to showcase my skills in the arts, of which I am passionate about, whilst simultaneously gaining and developing new skills. With my interest in art, visualisation became my strongest suit, in which I have developed through Photoshop, enabling me to express my ideas from a visual point of view. In the foreseeable future, I aspire to utilise my artistry and the skills that I have gained throughout my studies to design for communities spaces, as I am dedicated to create inclusive and pleasant environments for everyone.
For my final major project, I have designed a student accommodation called ‘ The Connecting Point’, in which I have incorporated features that cater to the needs of neurodiverse and neurotypical students. The purpose of this project was to create a comfortable living environment for both groups of students, as well as encouraging them to understand and help one another.
