I am Part 1 BA (Hons) Architecture graduate with a passion for how architecture affects a human being. By proposing several architectural concepts as part of the course and experience, I proved that I can creatively implement the acquired skills to develop a project.
My final studio project was based on the research of women in Black Country history, which consisted in the examination of the women history, women feelings, women rights, women problems, and women behaviour into a Public House (PUB). By interpreting the women’s space in a Public House(PUB) from the history of women in Black Country , the snug, I created a small macro
village, a protective home for women who are in immediate psychological danger with all the facilities that they need. The Iron will be the supportive item to emphasize the history of the site and the “power” of women.
I believe that the history of the area where the building is designed influenced the architecture both the functionality and aesthetic of it.
