Throughout my 3 years of my BA, I have learnt so much within interior architecture. From not knowing anything about interiors other than the outcome, I have now a true passion for my chosen career path. I enjoy having the ability to change the dynamics of a space, how it makes you feel, how it can change your mindset. During my journey, as a designer I have now a changed mindset to how I approach a space. During my studies I have allowed myself to see beyond a design and investigate the deeper meaning of the purpose in a space.
As a designer, I personally like to approach a project more visually by starting off with a strong collage to gather the atmosphere I am trying to create for a project. Simply doing this works better than a mind map to me as I like to communicate with images that can hold a strong narrative.
