I’ve retrained as a landscape architect, following the conversion route offered by BCU. Over the last three years, I’ve further explored a long-standing interest in the interactions between people, placemaking and landscape, situating these within the context of a future-changing climate, building ecosystem adaptability and resilience. Having originally studied for a degree in geography, the last three years have also brought about fresh learning experiences, and allowed me to develop my design and digital skills.
My previous experience includes working in sustainability in higher education, and community engagement roles in the charity sector, supporting community groups to set up food growing sites and community orchards, and sourcing south-west and heritage variety trees on their behalf.
