Nature's Hand: A Site-specific Installation - Hands are an existing motif at The Lost Gardens of Heligan and so we approached our client with the aims of celebrating their existing values and appreciation of nature, which align closely with our own. The visible layer of the installation is black maul wicker- a material we chose for it's appropriate aesthetic in a natural and organic setting.

Nature's Hand: A Site-specific Installation - From very beginning to end of this project, myself and Bex were dedicated to ensuring all of our build work was completed with sustainability at the forefront of our minds. Therefore, rather than have a steel framework fabricated for the wicker to be woven onto, we constructed an armature from repurposed steel scaffolding and wood for the base. We were able to keep costs and our environmental impact low as we chose to reuse and recycle rather than buy new building materials, while still ensuring the structure would be safe and structurally sound to be used by the general public.

Nature's Hand: A Site-specific Installation - The installation sits within The Lost Valley at The Lost Gardens of Heligan- a peaceful spot where visitors are able to sit in the palm and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens.

Nature's Hand: A Site-specific Installation - In order to create accurate shape, we took measurements from a life casting of my own hand and then used organic materials to begin to bulk and sculpt the hand shape. In keeping with our dedication to being sustainable makers, we used straw, a natural material, and recycled tights, tied onto the scaffolding with garden twine.

The Lanterns at Chester Zoo - Last November I spent time with Wild Rumpus creating large Cactus lanterns which featured as part of their Christmas lantern festival. The Lanterns is a magical festival for families that takes place around the zoo for two months; at night various animal and plant shaped lanterns are illuminated.

2000Trees Music Festival: Build Weeks - My favourite project at 2000Trees was constructing and then painting the dragon character onto these 'shifting character boxes' onsite during the build weeks.

Andy's Story: A Stop Motion Animation, scale 1:10 - Andy's story was a stop motion animation written and produced by myself during lockdown. The narrative was constructed following conversations I had with a homeless man- Andy- who kindly shared his stories with me in order for me to create something which would give people an insight into what it's truly like to be homeless in the uk. I made the set, props and characters from cardboard and the character of Andy from clear tape to symbolise his feelings of being unseen.

The Iron Tree: A Site-specific Installation - Nature and protecting green space has always been important to me and so I produced a conceptual installation, designed to sit in the library void space in Centenary Square, Birmingham. The installation celebrates the idea of Nature being given opportunity to reclaim spaces that lack greenery due to urban regeneration as seeds would be planted in the iron branches and overtime grow to fill the branches with wildflowers and plants.

Twin Motion Character Shot - I used TwinMotion to create a visual of how the installation would look in terms of scale, texture and context. I wanted to create an image where lighting would be effective, and so shot an image of the installation at night, when spotlights aimed up at the branches would hit the underneath of the branches making them glow.
