Biography

Jessica Lees is a contemporary practising artist whose current work focuses uses text to explore the untranslatable and ethereal processes often associated with nature. Her speculative body of work allows these intangible experiences to manifest themselves often through poetry and short stories. Lees’ developing body of work is self-referential and features malleable and fluid concepts through manipulation of the written word. Her work speculates on the clunky and imperfect translation of feeling into language
