I am a portrait illustrator with a diverse area of practice, from advertising to editorial illustration, art exhibitions and private commissions.
I usually work with paint on a large scale, but I also work digitally, creating small animations and GIFs. I create portraits of people, animals and insects and I am always inspired by great portrait artists who often study, research and build up a rapport with their sitters. This allows a unique likeness to be shown and aspects of their character and personality to be revealed.
After university, I hope to continue taking portrait commissions, whilst working with galleries to get my artwork out into the public eye. I also plan to do a Masters in Gallery management with the dream to open up my own gallery in Birmingham, supporting other local creatives.
