Originally from Manchester, and with a heavy influence of techno and house music, the majority of my graphic design work has been created with the music industry and urban undertones at the forefront. Taking influence from the likes of Kate Moross and Only Studio, I have been able to create a strong portfolio of graphic design artwork through founding my own company, This Is Apollo, while at university. With this I have had the opportunity to work with many clients, including Similarly, I have Eden Ibiza, a globally recognised club, rated in the top 100 in DJ Mag 2021.
Taking my background and my love of techno, house and grime music I successfully created a branding and promotional campaign for a Manchester based music festival for my Visual Communication module at BCU. Making use of the Adobe Creative Suite, I devised some fun illustrations of the performing artists, composed a unique font and created the futuristic festival ‘Next World’. Overall, my project proved successful, receiving a first-class grade. Further the project received 18k+ views on LinkedIn and received the praise ‘this is class, huge congrats’ from Sacha Lord, the owner of Parklife and The Warehouse Project.
While completing my dissertation, I landed myself a job as a Digital Content Creator back in Manchester with the marketing agency K2L. I hope this is the beginning of long design career!
