Biography

At an early age, I wanted to write as a career, inspired originally by authors such as Jacqueline Wilson and Stephen Chbosky, where I felt ‘seen’ and ‘heard’. For 2021, I am attempting to read over one hundred books and so far I am enjoying collections and novels from Sally Rooney, Wendy Cope, and Sylvia Plath. These authors encouraged that little nagging voice inside my head saying “go on, your voice deserves to be heard as well”. Now, reading and writing have become part of my almost daily routine and I hope one day to look upon my bookshelf and see my name on one of those spines.
