I’m Olivia, a BA (Hons) Fashion Business & Promotion graduate from Birmingham City University. Throughout my time at university, I have gained a plethora of personal and professional skills, as well as, many valuable experiences. These include working on live projects with companies such as George, Asda and Selfridges, being nominated for a Graduate Fashion Week award for marketing and being apart of the content creation team. During my second year, I fell in love with the process of creating a marketing campaign, especially one with a powerful meaning. Therefore, I would now like to pursue a career in marketing and I aspire to work for a company in which I can be apart of real, positive change in the world.
My Independent Final Project, ‘Pause’, focused on creating an online safe space for young women to learn about their health and bodies. Pause comprised of an online platform with educational resources and a community hub, as well as, a work booklet. The work for this project consisted of a business plan, research and collaboration document and creative outcomes, including a desktop and mobile website, social media, marketing campaign and work booklet mock-ups.
