Yiyang Pan is a contemporary jewellery designer from China. She believes that jewellery is a good medium for people to interact with each other, and expects to have ideological and concept communication with audiences through her jewellery work. At the same time, she also considers that the narrative of contemporary jewellery can carry a story or a moment of artistic expression. Yiyang prefers to create contemporary works use CAD combined with hand made methods. She is always curious about the digital world, considering that the interaction design process with software is interesting and exercises spatial thinking, meanwhile hand made process explores craft and technology, constantly improving and innovating. Yiyang expects both her consciousness and body to participate in the creation process.
