Biography

Amy Cushnaghan is a Franco-British student in her second of the HND Jewellery and Silversmithing. Her work is mainly focused on designing pieces that she then CAD and stone set herself. Amy is deeply inspired by Architecture and organic shapes. Her final pieces came from a need to inform about the urgent climate situation, and especially the water rising problem. Amy wanted to represent a city easily recognisable, Amsterdam, and show the threat that is on the horizon of this city known for its history and open-mindedness. She chose five different buildings that show what we would lose with climate change, our history and freedom.
