Biography

Jiahui Yu is a jewelry designer from China. She was born in a metalworking family and is currently studying at Birmingham City University. She studied visual communication in China as an undergraduate. However, influenced by her family, she was full of curiosity and love for metalworking since childhood, so she chose to study jewelry design in Britain. She is working on a series of works about criticizing Internet bullying. Her recent work has focused on visualizing bullying behind the Internet. The purpose of this project is to reflect on what kind of real harm Internet bullying brings to people.
