In my work I enjoy creating very detailed hand painted designs inspired by scenes in nature and in a style inspired by historic textiles and art.
The inspiration from my collection has come from the nature surrounding my home in Somerset, depicting scenes of marshes, wildlife, beaches, and the swans of Bishops Palace in Wells. My prints also reference historic textiles in a toile de jouy style layout and painted in a woodblock and etched print style.
I have created a collection of screen printed designs printed onto high quality linens and cottons for a high-end interiors context. Simple in colour, with a focus on details and mark making, I have created a collection of curtains, blinds and smaller interior products to visualize my designs for an interior setting.
