As a jewellery designer, I am fascinated by the subconscious behaviour and the hidden needs behind these behaviour, these subconscious minds, which are common in everyday life, can inadvertently decorate people’s bodies. Using the functionality that accompanies daily subconscious behaviour as a starting point, I observed people’s postures, movements, and small objects they interact with, which reveal the needs behind their behaviour.
In my recent “Subconscious” series of jewellery, I try to capture the essence of these needs and translate them into wearable art. Each piece is designed to be functional and playful, encouraging wearers to engage with their subconscious behaviour in a fun and meaningful way. My designs are informed by my own personal experiences and observations of the world around me.
Using a variety of materials, including metals and unconventional materials, I try to create jewellery that is both aesthetically pleasing and conceptually rich. Through my jewellery, I hope to address people’s needs. I aim to inspire wearers to connect with their own subconscious desires and emotions, and to use their jewellery as a tool for self-expression and exploration.
