Yuhui Wang (b. 2000) is a Chinese artist. Prior to his BA Undergraduate studies at Birmingham City University, he had learned traditional metalworking. During his studies, he became aware that an increase in mental health issues was occurring in society. With the coronavirus outbreak in 2020, the number of patients with mental health issues increased significantly. He believes jewellery can convey emotional and spiritual well-being, which can potentially affect the human body. Therefore, he combines psychology with jewellery design, transforming and practising the theoretical framework of psychology through jewellery making. Moving forward he is exploring the combination of AI painting with 3D printing technology, AI painting technology can aid designers to adjust ideas quickly, and 3D printing technology can reduce the design threshold. This not only reduces overall production costs and time but also broadens the appeal of a project.
