Hi, I’m Holly! I’m a final year Interior Architecture and Design student with a passion for creating immersive spaces, within the hospitality industry. I am particularly enthusiastic about placing users at the centre of the design, considering their needs and experience, as well as how the space can benefit them, throughout each stage of a design. Which is why, being able to see a project through from initial research ideas to creative, conceptual stages, to technical and atmospheric drawings is something which I enjoy most about interiors, being able to create unique designs which prioritise both creativity and function.
My final major project:
CHANGES, is an informative, and immersive hub dedicated to raising greater awareness and breaking down the stigma which still exists around mental health, with the idea that if nothing changes (progress is not made within society), then nothing changes. As part of raising awareness, this hub is home to a permanent exhibition which simulates poor mental health, which in combination with more uplifting, positive spaces, encourages socialisation amongst generations within dedicated art therapy studios and a relaxing botanical lounge allowing users to reflect on their journey through the space, amongst elements of nature.
